Sixty Seven Students sign up for AIB Public Speaking Contest

A record 67 students have signed up for the 2nd AIB Public Speaking Contest. According to the head of the Public Speaking Contest Mr Ravun Spring, the number is expected to hit about 100 by the deadline date. "So far 67 students have registered and 70% of them are from the high school" Mr Ravun noted "We are looking at about 100 students by the may 20th Deadline" he added.

Mr Ravun also stated that the Competition is open to the public and so far over 80% of the registration are from the public which is the purpose of the competition to encourage more students to take to public speaking.

The venue for the "ACLEDA 2nd Annual Championship 2023" is at ACLEDA Institute of Business (AIB), #1397, Phnom Penh Hannoi Friendship Blvd, Phume Anlong Kngan, Sangkat Khmuonh, Khan Sen Sokh, Phnom Penh.

Mr Ravun said that there will be an ONLINE meeting with all contestants for the overview, guides and procedures right after the close of deadline of the application.

According to the time line, the Date and Time for the Competition is as follows:

A: Preliminary: Saturday of June 10, 2023 from 7:15 - 12:00
B: Semi-Final: Saturday of June 10, 2023 from 13:00 - 16:00
C: Final Round: Saturday of June 24, 2023 from 7:15 - 12:00

Registration is Free and the Top prize winner gets One million Riels while the Second prize goes with 800,000 Riels and the third Prize winner earns 600,000 Riels.
